Choosing flowers that are in season will save you
hundreds of dollars. Why? Because they won't need to
be special ordered.
So after you choose the season in which you'll be
married, choose your wedding colors and then pick the
seasonal flowers you'll use.

married? Below is a quick guide for flowers in
season..every season of the year!
Spring:
Your flower options include tulip, lilly, hyacinth, daffodil
and dogwood. Bright blues, pinks and yellows are very
common in spring.
Summer:
Your flower options include daisy, gladiolus, snapdragon,
zinnia and dahlia. Since it will most likely be hot, choose
flowers that can withstand the heat.
Fall:
Your flower options include sunflower, chrysanthemum,
hydrangea, rose and fall flowers. Take advantage of the
vibrant colors of fall.
Winter:
Your flower options include poinsettia, evergreen, rose,
amaryllis and holly. Using the holiday season as a guide is
a nice touch.

Calla lilies
Calla lilies are great for wedding bouquets because of its
elegance.
White, yellow or burgundy are the most common types
of calla lilies used in bridal bouquets.
Stephanotis
Stephanotis is a popular flower as well. They're small
white flowers and means 'happiness in marriage'.
Tulips
Who doesn't like tulips? Tulips come in more colors than
you can imagine. They're perfect for bride maid's
bouquets as well as center pieces.
What do the different tulip colors mean? Red tulips
mean declaration of love, yellow tulips mean hopelessly
in love and cream-colored tulips mean will love you
forever.
Roses
These are the all-time favorite for bridal bouquets.
White roses mean purity and innocence, red roses mean
love and passion, yellow roses mean friendship and pink
roses mean happiness.
Hydrangeas
Blue hydrangeas are very famous for use in wedding
bouquets. They are actually clusters of flowers, and look
like they are bunched together. There are also white and
pink hydrangeas.
Lily of the Valley
Lily of the valley smell permeates any room they're in.
They are white little bell-shaped flowers on a stem and
brides love its natural perfume.
Daisy
A typical daisy will have petals around a yellow center
but other species will look totally different. Daisies are a
good choice because of its simplicity and vast array of
colors.
Orchid
Orchid is a tropical flower and quite famous as a
wedding bouquet.
Hyacinths
Hyacinth is a fragrant flower, too. Colors include purple,
blue, pink, white and yellow. One stalk of hyacinth can
have plenty of small flowers.
Remember that this is your day and your bouquet. To
make your bouquet extra special try including some
flowers that were in your Mother's or Grandmother's
bouquet.
Bridal bouquets are traditionally different or larger than
the bouquets your attendants will carry. But again, this
is your wedding, your choice.
