Issue 07 // May 2012
Long lumped with the `city of churches' label, a little staid
and conservative, adelaide is crawling out of the shadow of
its surrounding wine country and emerging as a cultural and
gastronomic destination in its own right.
Dennis and Rosamund Knill spend some time exploring the city
and its surrounds, while I stopover for an express 24-hour taste
test that leaves me wanting more. Check out our thoughts on
pages 4-7.
Heading further abroad, our Rotarian travellers have been quite
the jet-setters, with Mark Blomkamp, of the Rotary Club of Logan,
Qld, discovering the musical soul of Trinidad de Cuba, while PDG
Ian Holyoake, Rotary Club of ahuriri sunrise, NZ, continues his us
road trip across `the top'. Read their adventures starting page 24.
