The C.J. Anderson Retiring Cam (ARC) is a self
contained retractable cam. Its modular design
permits replacement of all component parts in the
field. This is a 2" wide cam with a 2 3/4" wide
base. It can be used on any type of door lock. It
is the easiest cam in the industry to install. It
requires only two mounting bolts and a two wire
hook-up. It has no motor, linkage or chains to
adjust or break.
Among its other features are its sturdy
construction of heavy gauge steel with a
corrosion resistant clear zinc coating, dual wound
coil which prevents overheating, and full 1.5"
stroke to assure positive unlatching of any type
door lock.
This cam is available in a 110 volt and 220 volt
AC or DC model. It can be used as a
replacement for any motorized or retractable cam.
The standard size fits most installations.
ARC-WP -
Water resistant features allow this
switch to work in environments where moisture
presents a problem. Can be furnished for 110 to
220 volts - 1, 2, or 3 phase - 60 cycles, AC
ARC-P -
For those hazardous locations where
explosion control is important. Can be furnished
for 110 to 220 volts - 1, 2, or 3 phase - 60 cycles,
