CJA has more sidewalk elevator
related equipment in cities all over the
world than any other manufacturer. It amazes me
when I travel to see SWK and FW stations that are still
working on a daily basis. Some continue to operate after 50
years of service.
The FW station pictured is at the world famous Berghoff Cafe in downtown Chicago,
not only was it a great restaurant but a great sidewalk elevator. This station has been installed
since the 1940's and if it could talk the stories it might tell.
