Students will participate in a strength training program, in conjunction with a conditioning program, to achieve a maximum workout and overall increased body strength, speed, and power. This program is beneficial for athletes and for those seeking to increase total physical fitness and well-being. The approach is primarily a body-weight and light-weight introduction to strength training, with age-appropriate progression. ONE’s 30-minute, 6:30 am classes are perfect for squeezing in exercise before your busy day. You will receive the support and guidance you need to remain committed to your exercise routine. There are 3 classes each week: Les Mills GRIT Cardio, RPM-indoor cycling and GRIT Strength. All classes have modifications to make them achievable for many fitness levels. GRIT Cardio and Strength feature exercises designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength, and agility. Indoor cycling with RPM will burn loads of calories while toning the muscles of your legs. YOUTH GOLF LESSONS Under the direction of Jim Jeffers, Golf Pro and Director of Golf, beginner and intermediate golf lessons will be offered by Hiland Golf Club, located at 195 Haviland Road, Queensbury. This 4-session program will cover golf fundamentals. Clubs will be provided for those without equipment.
