Q-Club Summer Youth Program Q-CLUB SUMMER PROGRAM The Q-Club summer youth program provides children (ages 6-12) an opportunity to participate in a variety of passive and active, indoor and outdoor recreational activities. A staff of trained counselors will plan, lead and supervise a daily program of activities at the Queensbury 4/5 School facilities. Join in the summer fun! Q-Club is a drop-in program where children can participate in daily (Monday- Friday) arts and crafts projects, sports, games as well as a variety of special events and clinics. Brochures outlining all the exciting and awesome trips will be available for pick-up at the Recreation Department Office in mid-June. Registration for field trips will begin on June 25, 2018 at 10:00 am. So many opportunities for summer FUN! NEED A RIDE TO Q-CLUB? Affordable transportation is available. Two separate buses will provide transportation to and from the Queensbury 4/5 School facilities, as shown by the pick-up and return schedule provided. Registered Q-Club participants will be picked up in the morning (Monday-Friday) and delivered to the 4/5 School at approximately 9:00 am. Beginning at 12:15 pm each day, buses will return registered children to their original pick-up location (see schedule) in the exact same order (beginning with stop # 1 and continuing on). There MUST be a parent or guardian present at the return location in order for a child to be dropped off. Please remember that due to weather and traffic conditions, pick up and return times are approximate! *We are inspected twice a year during camp. Q-Club is a certified day camp through the NYS Department of Health. To meet state requirements REGISTRATION FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A COPY OF EACH CHILD’S CURRENT IMMUNIZATION RECORD. IF YOUR CHILD PLANS ON BRINGING AN EPI-PEN AND/OR INHALER WITH THEM TO Q-CLUB, A PATIENT SPECIFIC ORDER (PSO) FROM YOUR CHILD’S PHYSICIAN IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.
