Celebrating Our Community As I take a moment to look back on the school year, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and optimism. Your incredible support and involvement in our community have made a significant impact towards a bright future for our students. Your valuable input on the Education and Operations (E&O) renewal levy, active participation in our strategic planning process, and involvement in crucial decisions have shown just how deeply you care about the well-being of our students and schools, regardless of whether you have children enrolled in VPS. The Vancouver community is truly remarkable. The support you continuously extend to our students and staff is truly appreciated and valued. I hope you are enjoying a beautiful Pacific Northwest summer. We are spending the summer reviewing all of the input from our strategic planning process. We’re already looking forward to August when we aim to share priorities that emerged as part of this strategic planning and also welcome our students to another exciting school year together on August 30. Thank you, voters! We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the voters in our VPS community for your support of the E&O levy. Renewal of our levy funding will allow us to maintain programs and services that help us to deliver on our commitment to students. Your support of this levy reminds us that even during challenging times, our community remains committed to education and student learning. Thank you for always putting our children first.
