KEYES AUTOMOTIVE GROUP was once
again a primary sponsor of Hope Of The
Valley's Thanksgiving Day Drumstick
Dash, a 5K, 10K, and Lil' Gobblers Run.
Drumstick Dash LA is an annual
running event held on Thanksgiving
morning in order to raise funds for the
homeless and hungry throughout the
San Fernando Valley.
In spite of the inclement weather conditions, nearly 1,500
eager participants, including Los Angeles City Councilman Paul
Krekorian, took part in this year's event, raising funds and aware-
ness for the hungry, homeless and indigent here in the community.
Considering the weather conditions, It was a remarkable and enthu-
siastic turnout. It was also another record breaking fundraiser for
the Hope Of The Valley's efforts
and a resounding confirmation of the
organization's theme and slogan for
the Thanksgiving Day event: "Move
your feet so others can eat!"
A dedicated and enthusiastic
contingent of Keyes Automotive per-
sonnel from the corporate office and
the various dealerships, along with their friends and family mem-
bers, participated in the event. Although some walked, some
raced or some ran, all had a great time participating in what has
become an annual event for a very worthy cause.
Today the need has never been greater: Hope of the Valley
Rescue Mission helps the homeless, feeds the homeless, shelters
the homeless, and clothes the homeless.
