Tapping into citizen scientists globally to find new antibiotics
and other drugs, faster, more cheaply and more efficiently. A
key benefit: Drugs that may not be cost effective for the big
pharmaceutical players could see the light of day.

Products chosen by the 180,000-strong crowd get designed, manufactured, and
marketed by Quirky. Since 2009, Quirky has collaboratively developed over 200 new
products. Retail partnerships include Apple, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target.
