CREATIVE ART & PLAY FOR TOTS Miss Jenna is back and will offer summer sessions of Creative Art and Play for Tots! Families have loved her summer programs; especially, the kiddos! Your toddler wants a fun and creative outlet! Join your toddler in an organized environment that is designed to allow for learning, play, and artistic expression. Learning games will be incorporated with a story time and related art activity. Each class is designed to help develop your child’s fine motor skills appropriate for his/her age level. Parents will learn age-appropriate art activities to help encourage their child’s artistic expression. All art projects will be a keepsake for you and your child to bring home each week; and all supplies will be provided. It is a great opportunity for socialization, too! Please join us for fun-filled, four-week sessions! Instructor: Jenna Capezzuti is a NYS certified teacher and has been teaching for over 15 years. She is the mother of 3 boys; a six-year old and twin twenty three-month olds. She understands the different developmental needs for various age groups. After years of using mindfulness techniques in her work with wildlife, Beth has set her sights on the wildest animals of all, humans! Join Beth as she helps the world become a more peaceful place, one frazzled person at a time. For more information, please visit: www.mindfulbynature.net. In this fun, activity-packed, 3-session program, children will learn tools to help them cope with anxiety, fear, and restlessness and to allow them to find more joy in their lives. Kids will practice techniques to help them fall asleep more easily, quiet a busy mind, relax before a test, and prepare for a sporting event. A portion of each session will be spent walking quietly along a forest trail. Outdoor activities will teach children to re-connect with nature and to get more enjoyment out of their time outside. In today’s busy world more is asked of our children than ever before. Modern technology is bombarding them with world news, interrupting their social activities, and disrupting their sleep schedules. Kids are becoming overwhelmed as they are saddled with adult worries at an age where they don’t have the skills to deal with them. Hanging out with Beth for a few hours will equip them with tools to help them navigate these challenging times.
