We welcome full boarding
pupils from 7 to 18 years to
our beautiful site within easy
walking distance of the seaside
town of Ramsgate in South-East
England. Founded in 1879, the
school is home to 650 pupils
from all over the world and has
a real family atmosphere, with a
strong sense of community.
Boarding is central to the
school's life and a massive
programme of investment has
created some truly remarkable
facilities for our boarders,
with all rooms en-suite.
Academic standards are high,
and an extensive choice of
GCSEs and A-levels are offered,
with an excellent success
rate of pupils going on to
their first choice university,
including Oxbridge.
Sporting facilities are exceptional
and include a magnificent
Sports Centre and an Olympic
standard hockey pitch. Music
and drama flourish, enhanced by
the school's 500-seat Theatre.
A new science, art and design
centre opened in September
2018. Boarders can use all of
the facilities in the evenings and
at weekends and benefit from
an extensive extra-curricular
activities programme.
The school runs its own airport
transfer service to Gatwick and
Heathrow. London is only 75
minutes away via direct high
speed train from Ramsgate to
London St Pancras International.
