Established in the 13th century,
we are one of the UK's top
grammar schools for boys
and a successful, modern,
state boarding school. We are
particularly proud of the warmth
of the relationships between
pupils and staff and of the
quality of our pastoral care. The
atmosphere at LRGS is vibrant,
inspiring and fun! Our boys
go on to the most competitive
universities, including around 15
annually to Oxbridge.
We have excellent travel links;
Lancaster is under 2½ hours
