Kingham Hill School
"A Top Small
Independent
School for highest
A level results."
The Telegraph
Kingham Hill School is a small
co-educational boarding and day
school for children aged 11-18,
set in 100 acres of spectacular
grounds in the heart of the
Cotswold countryside, in which
pupils can explore, enjoy and
make their home.
The Good Schools Guide
described the school as "A
supportive community of pupils
and teachers...in an area of
outstanding natural beauty."
With 340 pupils in the school,
every child is nurtured, challenged
and inspired to succeed, both
academically and in their personal
lives. Small class sizes offer tailored
support so pupils achieve excellent
results academically. In 2018,
46% of A levels were graded A*-A
and Sixth Form pupils regularly
secure places at top universities,
most recently including Oxford,
Imperial College and London
School of Economics.
The boarding houses are far
smaller than many schools, with
an average of just 25-30 pupils
per house so they really feel like
a home away from home.
School facilities are first class
and ensure the pupils have the
very best amenities to enhance
their learning. These include a
new science centre and library, a
leisure centre with gym, indoor
pool and sauna, and a wide
range of co-curricular activities
including the school farm,
shooting and the Formula 1 in
School's karting club.
