1. Formatthedocumenttolandscapeorientationsothatthemenucanbefolded.
2. Thefilewillhavetwopages.Thefirstpagewillcontainthefrontandback
coverswhilethesecondpagewillcontainthetwoinsidepanels.
3. Usenomorethantwofontsonthemenu.
4. Connectmenuitemswithpricesbyusingtabssetwithdotleaders(arowof
dotsorperiods).
5. Planthelayoutanddesignofthemenuonpaperfirst.
6. Readthroughallinstructionspriortocompletingtheproject.
1. Beforecontinuing,notethatthelayout,design,andfontsforthisprojectwillbe
leftforyoutodecide.
2. UsingMicrosoftPublisher,oranequivalentdesktoppublishingsoftware,create
anewtwo-pagedocument.
3. SavethedocumentasProjectDTP-7SubHubMenuinyour"DTP"folderunder
"TheHub"folder.
4. Setthepagesizeto11incheswidex8.5inchestall(landscape)with.25inch
marginsonallsides.
5. Oneachpage,inserttwocolumnguideswitha.5inchgutter(toallowfor
foldingthemenuinhalf).Themenushouldnowbedividedintotwopanelson
eachpageasshowninFigureDTP-7.1.Placethecontentsforthemenuinits
respectiveplacesaccordingtotheinstructionsthatfollow.
6. OntheOutsideRightPanel(frontcover)ofthemenu,includethefollowing
information:
