time,italsoisavisuallypleasingwayforreaderstofindinformation.Oncethe
calendariscreatedinExcelforonemonth,thefilecanserveasatemplate
forothermonths.Theinformationforeachdatecanbechangedwithout
adjustingtheformatofthecells.
1. Copyandpasteobjects,suchasthedate,sothatthesizeandstyleremainthe
same.
2. Readthroughallinstructionspriortocompletingtheproject.

2. SavetheworkbookasProjectEXL-7CalendarofEventsinyour"Excel"folder
under "The Hub" folder.
3. KeythedataasitappearsinFigureEXL-7.1intothespreadsheet.Unless
otherwisenoted,thefontshouldbesettoArial10point.
4. Selecttheentirespreadsheetandformatthealignmentofallcellstowraptext.
5. Formatthetextinrow1to36pointbold.
6. MergeandcentercellsA1throughG1.
7. Formatthetextinrow2to16point,center-aligned,andshadedgrey.
8. FormatthewidthofcolumnsAthroughGto18.
9. Formattheheightofrow2to36.
10. Formattheheightofrows3through7to90.
11. FormatcellsA3throughG7withthefollowing:
· Applyhorizontalalignmenttoleft(indent)to4
· Applyverticalalignmenttotop
12. InsertatextboxforthedateofthemonthincellB3.Formatthetextboxwith

14. Positionthetextboxintheupperleftcornerofthecell.
15. CopyandpastethetextboxincellB3toeachdayofthemonth.Changethe
datesothatitreflectsthecorrectdateforeachday.
16. Carefully proofread your work for accuracy and format.
17. Resavethefile.
18. SetthePrintAreatoincludeallcellscontainingdatainthespreadsheet.
