he Hub is an integrated Microsoft Office Simulation that will challenge
you to complete a series of real-world projects that The Hub requests for
the operation of its business. In this simulation, you will assume the role of
a Microsoft Office Specialist for The Hub, a for-profit teen community social
center located in the heart of Austin, Texas. It was established for the purpose
of giving teens in the surrounding area a safe place to socialize, gather, and
connect. The Hub provides teens a way to stay connected to their peers with
entertainment, music, video games, dancing, and great food.
Who Should Use The Hub Simulation?
The Hub is designed for students who are enrolled in a secondary-level
computer applications course that includes one or more of the Microsoft
Office software applications in its curriculum. This simulation is designed to
allow students to use and apply their Microsoft Office knowledge and skills in
an integrated, real-world business setting.
What You Need to Complete The Hub Simulation

2. Any version of Microsoft Word
3. Any version of Microsoft Excel
4. Any version of Microsoft Access
5. Any version of Microsoft Publisher or an equivalent desktop publishing
software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXpress
