Survey Results
S
urveys are a great way for businesses to collect data on customer
satisfaction.However,thedatacollectedneedstobeproperlyanalyzed.
UsingExceltocountsurveyresultsanddisplaythoseresultsvisuallycanturna
routinecustomersurveyintoaninformativetoolinapowerfulway.
1. Althoughsurveyquestionshavetextualresponses,itisadvisabletoinputthe
data as numeric. This will ensure consistent input.
2. TheCOUNTIFfunctionrequiresarangeandcriteriainthefollowingformat:
=COUNTIF(RANGE,CRITERIA).
