1. Create an

exploded pie

chart.

makes it surprisingly easy to sync media from your computer to your device,
and the other way around. Shop the iTunes® Store directly from your iPhone®,
iPod® touch, or iPad®. You can download music, movies, and TV shows
anywhere you are over a Wi-Fi network. When you're back at your computer,
connect your device. iTunes® syncs what you bought on the road to your
iTunes® library. iTunes® also wirelessly syncs your iTunes® library to your Apple
TV, so you can see your movies, listen to your music, and look at your photos
on the big screen.
The following acti vity illustrates how spreadsheets can be used to graphically
illustrate the average rati ng of the top 20 2010 iTunes® movie rentals.

1. Create a NEW spreadsheet.

Unless otherwise stated, the font should be 10 point Arial.
2. Type the data as shown.
3. Use the AutoFill feature to fi nish the numbering sequence in cells A5 A24.
4. Format the width of column A to 6.0.

5. Bold row 4.
6. Adjust the width of columns B F using the AutoFit feature.

7. Bold cells A1 and A2 and change the font size to 16 point.

8. Format cells C5 C24 as dates, center align, displaying mm/dd/yy.
9. Format the width of column D to 10.0 and center align.

10. Format cells D5 D24 as currency displaying 2 decimal places and the $ symbol.

11. Center align columns E and F.

12. Create an exploded pie chart as follows.

a. Select cells B4 B24 and F4 F24 simultaneously.

b. Using the Chart Wizard, select Pie for the Chart type and Pie with a 3-D visual

eff ect for the Chart sub-type.

c. Set the pie chart to Series in Columns.

d. Enter the chart ti tle as AVERAGE RATING OUT OF 10.
