HOSTA ‘Ann Kulpa’ 18” x 40” Medium $8.95 Very wide, dark green margins with lighter green shades jetting into the narrow yellow centre that brightens to ivory. Moderately corrugated leaves with above-average substance. Striking variegation - the yellow-white centre is so narrow, it looks like a fluorescent stripe through the deep green. I’ve been growing this for several years now and it has so surpassed my expectations, I had to acquire it for the nursery. Pale lavender flowers on tall ivory scapes bloom early in the season. Good substance. Like a fine wine, this one gets better every year. Lavender flowers. (2-gal) Photo: Source HOSTA ‘August Moon’ $8.95 20” x 42” Large A classic hosta. August Moon forms a large mound of crinkled, golden foliage. One of the oldest cultivars, it is still highly rated for its bright gold colour, corrugation and good substance. Tolerates full sun, which intensifies its gold colour, but will also brighten up a shady area. Flared lavender flowers. Photo: WildThings HOSTA ‘Autumn Frost’ $23.95 12” x 30” Medium Leaves emerge frosty blue-green with wide, brilliant yellow margins and mature to sea-green with white margins. This is one of the last hostas to succumb to frost in the fall and is one of the showiest of them all. A sport of ‘First Frost’ with the same unique colours, but a much wider and showier margin.
