HOSTA ‘Yankee Blue’ 20” x 40” Large $14.95 This vigorous blue hosta forms a full, symmetrical wide mound of long, wedge-shaped leaves. The leaves are attractively wavy and hold their colour well into summer, eventually turning bluegreen late in the season. It has above average substance and is a very fast grower. Near white flowers. Photo courtesy Walters Gardens, Inc. HOSTA ‘Zebra Stripes’ $24.95 12” x 28” Medium Foliage emerges white in spring, then greens along the veins, making this distinctive new offering look striped. Grows well in colder climates and is surprising robust. Although it is supposed to green up - making it a good grower and a suitable candidate for an Ontario garden! - late season pictures I have seen of this hosta show it still in its striped glory as it heads into dormancy. Reputed to grow well. Although we have had many requests for a spring white hosta, we have rejected them until now, because they were extremely expensive and very likely to die. But finally, we have one that is a good grower. Very new, very rare and in limited supply. Spidery, lavender flowers. Good vigour and growth habit. Lavender flowers. (2-gal) Photo: Source IRIS sibirica ‘Yellow Tail’ $8.95 28” x 36” z3 A beautiful semi-double iris with white inner petals. Very floriferous. Siberian iris prefer moist soil and are suitable candidates for wet areas and pond-side, though they also manage our own ordinary garden soil with ease. These plants bloom in late spring, later than bearded iris. Their slender spiky leaves remain attractive after flowering. Easy to grow. Attract hummingbirds and bees, but deer and rabbits don't like them. Good cut flowers. New. Photo: Source www.wild-things.ca 77 1-877-538-3228
