HOSTA ‘Emerald Ruff Cut’ 20” x 36” Medium
$15.95
Outrageously ruffled!. Forms a medium sized mound of gold leaves with heavily rippled dark green margins, ½” wide. Near white flowers in July. Sharp contrast between the gold centre and dark green margin. Very bright spring hosta which holds its colour well. Fast frowth rate and good slug resistance. New. Photo: Source
HOSTA ‘Empress Wu’ 4’ x 6’ Giant
$22.95
The largest, tallest hosta ever bred. Huge, thick, dark green, deeply veined leaves can measure more than 18”’ long and wide to form a massive, upright clump of heavy, slug resistant foliage. Hasten Wu’s growth rate by planting her in rich soil and giving her a good drink every week during the growing season. Tantalize the neighbours - everybody is going to want one when they see yours. Her growth rate has astounded me - I planted my own personal specimen in a large container, which she quickly outgrew. After a few container upgrades, I was able to plant her in my new hosta garden in November, 2013 (the things we get up to when customers aren’t looking!) and am really looking forward to seeing what she can do. Pale reddishviolet flowers soar above the clump to a height of 6’ or more. (2-gal) Photo courtesy Walters Gardens, Inc
