HOSTA ‘June’ $17.95 16” x 37” Medium
v Pointed, oval leaves with wide, streaked, blue-green margins and chartreuse centres in spring which turn golden by summer. Thick substance. An exceptionally pretty hosta, beautiful - and very different! - in sun or shade. June deserves every accolade bestowed upon her. Lavender-blue flowers. When in doubt, plant a "June' hosta. HOSTA ‘June Spirit’ $25.95 14” x 30” Medium
Forms a distinctive mound of shiny leaves with wide, deep green margins and chartreuse centres that brighten to yellow in summer. Lovely in containers or at the front of the border. ‘June’ and all of her progeny are exceptionally beautiful hostas. They are easy and fast to grow, with superior thick, slug repelling leaves and become even more beautiful as they mature. Lavender-blue flowers. Photo courtesy Walters Gardens, Inc.
HOSTA ‘Key West’ $19.95 28” x 40” Large
Very large bright gold, smooth heart-shaped leaves on this extra-large hosta. Bright filtered shade draws out the most intense colouration. Lavender flowers top the clump in early summer. Rated very highly for its bright colour, ease of growth and slug resistance. Photo courtesy Walters Gardens, Inc.
HOSTA ‘Kiwi Full Monte’ 24” x 40” Large
$16.95
A sport of ‘Striptease’, this has been on my own personal wish list for a long time. The leaves emerge chartreuse in the centre with a powdery blue margin separated by a thin white strip. The blue colour lasts for a long time while the centre brightens to yellow, making this hosta really stand out in the garden. Fast growth rate, with excellent vigour, notable substance and slug resistance. Lavender flowers. Photo courtesy Walters Gardens, Inc.
HOSTA ‘Komodo Dragon’ 30” x 5’-6’ Giant
$12.95
Forms a giant, vase-shaped, cascading mound of neatly rippled, deep green foliage. It is a rapid grower with excellent substance and some corrugation. This giant hosta needs some room, but is worth every inch of garden space it commands. A beautiful specimen. Light lavender tubular flowers in midsummer.
