5. Renewable Energy Supply that matters
Installation of large areas of PV-systems on the municipal buildings constituted the major part of the
renewable energy component in this CONCERTO project. There was 514 kWp of PV contributing about 450
MWh of electricity per year included in the Class1 project. The Municipality of Egedal prepared a tender for
the installation of these large amount of PV ­ areas in 2012.
The Danish company Drivhuseffekten - http://www.drivhuseffekten.dk/ won the tender and the first
installation was in place by January 15, 2013. All installations of the tender were completed by May 2013.

In total for this Renewable Energy input, the Municipality of Egedal has installed 9 PV-systems comprising a
total of 963 kWp installed peak effect and with a total guaranteed annual electricity production of 931
MWh.

The map presented in Figure 34 show the location of the 9 PV-systems in the municipality.

figure caption in the following order: PV-type, installed peak power, number of mē and expected yearly
