5.2. Online Monitoring
Online monitoring of the electricity production of all PV-systems has
been installed and the production can be followed online from a
computer or a mobile device mobile phone or tablet.

The collected data is sent to a central server. This means that data is
available even if the inverter is switched off (eg. when gets dark
some inverters are off). Via a simple and inexpensive device
(converter) the connection between the plant inverters and the
central server is established over the Internet. The converter is
produced by Sollae Systems in a quality targeted industrial
environments. The central collection makes it easy to display data
on multiple media, for example an app, a web page, or a public info
screen. For several plants, as is the case for Egedal, the figures may
be summarized to the total production and can be selected to be
shown instead of the individual installations. A public info screen is
placed for each installation and at the Town Hall for the total
production.

The public website:
allows all interested
persons for example the pupils at the schools to follow the
electricity productions from the individual installations or the total.
It is also possible to download an app (both for IOS and Android
phones) to follow the production. Figure 44 shows an example of what can be seen at the website or on the
app.
