In conclusion, we can see that the new urban development area has resulted in important lessons with
regards to user experiences. It has highlighted some of the `usual' challenges that low energy buildings
encounter, but it has also provided a deeper insight into how these challenges come to be and how these
are addressed in the innovation process. Although the study has not portrayed the design and innovation
process in detail, it provides some indications with regards to strengthening user perspectives in the
development process.
